Mrs Owen, Miss Barnes, Mrs Causer, Miss Hewins and Miss Malin welcome you to Foundation Stage
Picnic in the Park
We had a wonderful picnic on Tuesday with all the children and parents at the Mead. We would like to say a huge thank you for such a fantastic year and wish the children good luck in year one!
Foundation Stage Mother’s Day Assembly and holiday homework
We would like a photo of Mums/Grandmas with their child for our Mother’s Day assembly on Friday 2nd March at 2.30pm. We need electronic copies of these photos so emailing them to school would be preferred! Thank you.

Our next topic is “All about animals” and we would like your child to draw a picture of their favourite animal and write a label in their homework book. Please complete this by Wednesday 21st February.
We can't believe we have had a whole term at school already! The children have enjoyed topics about friends, Space, dinosaurs and performed an amazing nativity. To finish our busy term, Santa came in and surprised the children- he even brought gifts for each one!
Next term we will be learning about Traditional Tales. Please check your child's book bag for their Christmas homework.
We have been learning about Harvest Festival and where some of our food comes from. We read the story of the Little Red Hen and learnt about baking bread. Today we baked bread and even made butter! The children were amazed we could make butter with cream (and a magic ingredient of marbles!) If you'd like to make some butter at home you can click here for the recipe! The bread tasted delicious!
