Welcome to Foundation. Your child will be in one of two classes-Ali Class or Darwin Class. Below you will find lots of information to support your child's learning journey this year and lots of photos of learning in action.

Spring Term 2023

Fun in the snow!

Our Current Topic is Superheroes and Princesses

Have a look at what we have been learning about.

We have been making and drawing castles suitable for a princess or king, whilst also having fun in our new role play area.

We have been completing superhero exercises, so we can be strong and fit superheroes.

The children enjoyed learning about Andy Warhol and had a go at creating some of their own superhero pop art.

We listened to the story of Supertato and made our very own superhero vegetables and made traps so we could catch the Evil Peas.

The children thought about what special powers they would have if they were a superhero. They dressed up as a superhero and wrote about themselves as superheroes.

Children enjoyed making superhero bases in our Construction Area.

National Read A Book Aloud Day.

The children enjoyed a visit from Mr Roper our year 5/6 teacher. He visited us and read a story to the class.

People Who Help Us.
